11PM - January 18, 2010

I am so sorry, I have been slacking on my blogging duties. :( I've been adjusting to my new routine, with my new job and all...

Oh wait, I haven't told you that one yet, have I?

Yeeesss, you read that right. I already have a job, one that I actually like doing and pays well enough. I didn't get the Nurse I Position at AFPMC, which was sort of a bummer. But it wasn't that depressing at all, probably because I was suffering from nerves that time, when I got the news (Mimi and I had to perform Paramore's cover version of "Use Somebody" at the family reunion). Now I'm already working as an English Instructor Associate at a Korean company based in Pioneer, Mandaluyong. In case you haven't read my Friendster blog before, teaching is my first love, and it has been a sore point in my life that I didn't get to take up Education during college. Don't get me wrong, I also love BSN, but teaching was something deeply ingrained in my system since childhood (Mummy was a teacher, soooo.. you get the point). I've been working there for almost two weeks now, and I'm grateful that everyone is very willing to teach me the ropes. Godwilling, all goes well, so I might get to pursue Education units at PNU (hopefully Dr. Briones will let me enroll, without making me do extra paperwork) or at NTC.

I love the fact that wearing make-up is an integral part of my job. Sort of like a course requirement, since the account I'm in involves teaching Koreans Basic English through videophone, meaning we really have to be picture-perfect in front of the webcam.

I also love the fact that we EIAs get a lot of free time, as long as classes are over. We also get unlimited coffee breaks courtesy of the two Nescafe vending machines at the pantry (hence the reacquired addiction). Also, Robinsons Pioneer is literally a stone's throw away from our building (nothing too exciting though).

Wait.... so many ideas are going through my head now, and I don't know where to start. Guess I had way too much Latte at work. LOL! :)

Ooookaaayyy... I'm feeling a bit calmer now... Hhhhmmmm... What else should I blog about??

Oh yeah, I've been thinking about the fact that I'm turning 23 in less than six months, and it made me realize that I'm not a teenager anymore. I'm an actual grown-up, who has to make very smart decisions from now on. No more playing hooky in school, cramming, coming in late or spending too much. The thought of being very, very responsible makes me shiver down to my manicured toenails. LOL! :) But God reminds me to trust Him; that He is always there to guide me in every step of the way, so I don't feel so scared anymore (most of the time. HAHA!).

What else???? Maaan, the caffeine is getting on my nerves! LOL! :)

Well, I guess that's it, so far. I promise I'll write about more stuff next time, when I'm not so hyper anymore (or when I manage to kick my on-and-off coffee habit, whatever comes first).

PS > Amram and I are doing great! :) 3 months 'til our 3rd anniversary! :)) yaaaay us!! Hon, thank you for taking me out on dates at a regular basis… and for always being a complete gentleman to everyone. LOVE YOU SO MUCH! :))

PPS > I sooo love my 12NN - 9PM shift. :) and my co-teachers as well! :)) and our TL din pala... :))

XOXO
