Urgh. I keep using cliche-ish titles for my blogs. HAHA. Sorry naman, wala na ko panahon mag-isip, because I only have time to write in between my classes.
Anyway...
I don't think I can write about every single thing that happened last night at the Nona-Joker-Tin going-away party, but I know it'll be one night that I'll always remember. :) Almost everyone from our STCJMS batch was there, together with some of our lowerclassmen.
It's a relief to know that even though more than 10 years has passed since Sixth Grade, we never outgrew each others' banterings and jokes (although some of the jokes got a little more mature! ;p). Half of me wishes that during our time, the High School Department was already established, so that we could've stayed together for four more years.
*sigh* I wish I could've stayed until 5AM like the rest of them, but I had to go at around 2AM, because I can't afford falling asleep on a toxic Friday afternoon. ;p
I can't wait for our next reunion (probably on Mary's daughter Eilys' baptismal).

Unlawful Dismissal
I never knew Sir Rex San Diego was sacked because of the Quesci blogging incident, that is, until I read the news about it.
Well...
I'd like to fire off a very long string of profanities towards the person responsible for the sacking, since she cannot SUSPEND me (HAHA! Tagal na akong hindi student ng Quesci, at may nagsuspend na sa akin ng 10 days nung Senior year ko)... But I know wala rin namang magagawa, kasi wala na rin ata siya in that position.
It is very deplorable that Quesci has seemingly reached an all-time low, now that reports say that they use the curriculum of normal public high schools. I am not criticizing the QCSHS students, I know most of them are really bright students, but I think the ones at fault here are the irresponsible Dep-Ed officers na naglalagay ng principal sa aming paaralan. Jusko, wala ata silang nailagay na matinong principal na tumagal. Si Dr. Habijan lang ata matino. Oo, yung pandak na babaeng sumunod, walang kwenta!! "Mahal", you know who you are.
*sigh* bad trip talaga. I do hope Sir Rex and his family are okay right now. If I were an owner of a private school, I would definitely hire him on the spot. Duh! Sure win na ang mga students ko sa mga press con pag ganun!
grrrrrr!!

I feel so depressed and cold inside. Like some dementor is here in my cubicle, sucking up all the happiness I had during the past few weeks.
It's because of Mom's pseudo-lecture through the pamphlet she made me read last night (see my first blog entry for today)
Grrrr...
I tried looking at pictures of Yellow Calla Lilies, and it's not working!!! (Yellow Callas are one of my pick-me-uppers)
2 cups of Coffee didn't even give me a boost! :<
Grrrr...
I just probably need to buy something...
Consumerism may not solve all the problems in the world, but I know it makes me superficially happy, even for a moment. Kind of like getting yourself crazy drunk for a night (but instead of getting inebriated, you go on a semi-controlled shopping spree), then deal with a bigger problem the next day (but instead of a physical hangover, you get a wallet hangover).
Hhhmmm... I wonder what I'm going to buy later... ;p

"Baby, Are You Down, Down, Down?" - Jay Sean
*sigh* I am feeling down today.
Besides the fact that my most notorious class just renewed their contract with me (grrr!!)...
Mom made me read something that reminded me of a slightly huge problem I might (most probably will) in the future, if things go according to plan...
I mean, I know all that already, it's just that I've pushed the whole thing at the back of my head, hoping things would turn out for the better...
If I would put things into a complete stop, I would very much go insane again... And I would probably do things a lot worse, for me to cope with the misery...
I couldn't do that... Tried it a lot of times, I just really couldn't... And besides, I wouldn't want to go back to the black pit of despair and lose all sense of reality AGAIN... If Mommy only knew the things I did before, until I recovered......
*sigh*
I know what I read was right, even though it was downright harsh and frank... but... look, if things in the past worked out just fine, I wouldn't have to deal with this... but unfortunately, it didn't, so... Whatever. This is the new me, dealing with my present and future, even though it is a complicated arrangement.
I do hope things turn out for the better, if not for the best. I know things don't turn out to be perfect but, I do hope they turn out okay in the end.
Hope this gloomy feeling doesn't last long.
XOXO

The Long Over-Due Valentines Blog
Okay, I promised you that I will write about my uber-cool Valentines' Day date, so.... here goes. I deemed it uber-cool, because it involved dining out in a very classy setting without spending a single cent. :P Haha.
Anyway, February 14, 2010 fell on a Sunday, so we first went to Marikina to attend Sunday Service (Amram's alarm did not go off, so he was not able to attend); then Mimi and I went home to Cubao for lunch. Amram arrived at our house around 1 o'clock. Mimi's friends weren't available that day, so we brought her along with us.
So we rode the MRT going to Ortigas, then walked our way to SM Megamall, to go to the Weddings and Debuts 2010 Fair, which was being held at Megatrade Halls 1, 2 and 3. :) Yes, you read that right. :P
The mall's lower levels was pretty much swamped with couples and families, so we decided to eat merienda later after attending the fair.
When we arrived, we retrieved our tickets from the booth (we were pre-registered guests), then started walking inside.
Man, I was so OVERWHELMED with what I saw.
There was a myriad of booths, ranging from catering, photography, wedding couture, event coordination, souvenirs, invitations, music / entertainment services, mobile bars, wedding venues, videography, bridal car rentals, make-up, and flower arrangement services. I didn't know where to start! Haha.
So we started following the flow of people, and stopped at every single booth we passed by. I literally had my white paper bag full of flyers, brochures, sample CDs, free magazines and pictures from the photobooths, free brownies, and other stuff. My feet were begging me to stop walking (shouldn't have used the black leather boots). I was expecting Amram to be a bit bored, but even he was excited about the photography services! Mimi had fun with the free brownies and nachos, and after talking with some event organizers, decided right then and there that SHE WOULD NOT HAVE A CONVENTIONAL DEBUT. Haha.
After more than three hours of canvassing, inquiring, wine-and-food-tasting, and lots of laughs, we were done. So we decided to pass by the Wedding Library store near it, then go somewhere to eat. Then Mimi saw that the three catering companies were holding free food tasting at the Conference Hall. The three of us fought about who was going to ask about the whole food tasting thing, and Mimi lost, so she asked the concierge about it.
It was a good thing that Mimi had guts (growling at the time) to ask about the food tasting, because after 20 seconds, we were being ushered to a room that actually resembled a wedding reception. We were given food stubs, that we were supposed to give to the waiter, then got our food from the buffet table. :) From my rough estimate (using the prices from the brochure), each of us ate food worth P400 pesos. :P
Haha. I just can't get over the fact that it was free, because every food tasted like from some 5-star restaurant.
Anyway, after that, we did a little stroll around the stores, then decided to go home (the paperbags were really heavy). We rode the MRT all the way to Cubao, then stopped by Farmers' Plaza, because Mimi had to buy something at Watsons, and Amram bought his sneakers at World Balance. Amram also bought me a huge bouquet of white roses (he was waiting for me the whole day to whine about not receiving flowers, but he did not hear anything from me, so... he "surprised" me with the bouquet that night).
*Sigh* What I enjoyed the most was (besides the free food --- HAHA!), the three of us bonded together on the day which was supposed to be for couples. Our bridal fair date was even more fun, because my sister came along, and she didn't act like some sad, old third wheel or chaperone. We treated each other as equals, as if we were the same age. Up to today, the three of us still cannot get over the events that took place that day. :)
So... I guess that's it. My mom regretted (a bit) the fact that she and KP were not able to go with us, when we told her what happened. But not to worry, there's another Bridal Fair in May, also to be held at Megatrade Hall, so... you can be sure that the three of us will be there. :) :)

A Sudden Disappearance
Leo Allen Pangilinan, my GS classmate and batchmate, has suddenly gone missing. This news has greatly shaken everyone in our STCJMS and Quesci batches, as he is a very sweet, kind, friendly and responsible person.
Even now, I still cannot get over the intensity of this very disturbing incident. My childhood memories with Allen flooded my mind ever since I learned the news from my HS best friend Harriet.I really hope and pray that he will be found safe and sound; and that his family will continue to hold onto God's strength, grace and mercy in dealing with this.

RAWR V.2
Just when I thought that yesterday could not get any worse, today HAPPENED. I was late for 6minutes (but for agood reason); my new Maybelline FP isn't as impressive as I thought it would be; my computer got busted (all my files are going down the drain); our salary might not be given at an earlier date; and my latte tastes weird.
I hate not having my files with me. I feel so lost. I feel like I'm losing control. Grrr! I just hope it's just a hardware problem, so Kuya Sean from the IT Department won't have to reformat the whole thing, and I'll get to use it again tomorrow noon.
Anyway...
My grade school classmates Nona and Joker are here for a couple of weeks, so our batch is planning a get-together next week. I am soooo excited to see them all again, after six years. :) :) :)
Hhhhmmmm... More later... My first class will start in
11 minutes...
